eWater Cooperative Research Centre began operations during September 2005, and was officially launched on World Water Day, 22 March 2006. Click here for an overview of our history.
eWater is governed and managed by eWater Limited (ACN 115 422 903), a company established by the eWater CRC participants, with an independent, skills-based board.
eWater has head office in Canberra, ACT; and the CRC's researchers and industry personnel (around 300 people) are based at 47 partner organiations located across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and ACT, as well as in South Korea.
eWater provides educational and financial support and professional development training for postgraduate students at our 8 partner universities.
The eWater Participants' Forum, comprising representatives of the CRC's 41 participant organisations, meets regularly to discuss strategic approaches and operational processes with the Executive and Board.
eWater's R&D and product-applications are managed in four large projects, whose leaders are members of the eWater Senior Management Team. (Organisational chart.)
