Goals

  • Identify the educational needs of eWater CRC stakeholders.
  • Identify the relationships and processes that link social learning, water education and adaptive management of freshwater aquatic ecosystems.
  • Identify the enablers and barriers to context-appropriate use of e-learning systems in water education and training settings.
  • Assess the effectiveness of blended learning environments for water education and training programs.
  • Develop processes to include stakeholders as co-researchers, working with eWater CRC researchers to solve freshwater ecosystem management problems in a learning-based environment.
  • Develop packages of education components that lead to clear educational outcomes to support the water industry.

Scope

The research scope is very wide: namely, investigation of methods that work and do not work, to achieve specified learning outcomes.
